Call Me!

True confession time: Until yesterday, I had never, not once in my life, baked -or even consumed- a Blondie! As a proud brunette and admitted chocolate lover, the idea of a Blondie didn't interest me at all.

But when I saw that Martha (a blonde herself- if only from a bottle- but nonetheless my cupcake idol) had a recipe for a Blondie Cupcake I knew that the time had come for me to give them a try.


And while I'm not ready to go in for a dye job and switch my allegiance from Brownies, these were very tasty! Next time I'll top them with caramel sauce or brown butter icing (or both!).

I concur, these were most tasty as is (was?)! But I would never dissuade a person from a liberal application of caramel sauce. Or brown butter icing, for that matter. Either one goes well with most things, really.
