Chocolate Pot de Creme

I've been feeling a little homesick lately. Not for my hometown, but for a city I lived in for about 8 years- San Francisco. I'm blaming this homesickness on my friend Michele who lives in SF and keeps mentioning how much fun she's having at the Giants game, and that she can walk places rather than drive, and that she's going to all these fabulous new restaurants.

I started thinking about all the restaurants I love in San Francisco. And one of them sticks out above all the rest: Foreign Cinema. It's not the fanciest, or the most expensive, or even in a nice part of town, but the atmosphere is cool and quirky and the food is excellent.

Of course, when I mention "food" what I really mean is dessert! Every dessert I ever had there was delicious, but the Chocolate Pot de Creme was the best. So, to help with my homesickness, I made my own version the weekend, and it too, is delicious!
